#monopfx: Best pedalboards of November 2022

The month of November brought us more new board builds. Which #monopfx pedalboards are at the forefront this month?

Big boards, little boards — we don’t discriminate. We’ve selected a few notable submissions for their attention to detail, tonal options, and more.

The Lite Heavyweights

Do you believe that less is more? Musicians that belong to this camp turn to boards like our Pedalboard Lite to keep things trim on their tone hunt. No extra baggage is allowed here — every effect unit counts.

This must’ve been Babb Lab’s quickest #monopfx build – a portable machine for any bassist out on the road. This Pedalboard Lite features the Dunlop X Mini + Polytune mod, Origin Effects Cali76 and the sought-after Noble bass preamp.

So light it can almost fly.

Pedalboard Classics

For the players that want the essentials and a little more. Here are our favorite Small and Medium builds of the month.

Our Pedalboard Medium is pure perfection when done right and that’s what we see from Johannes’s immaculate setup. He makes full use of the pedalboard’s real estate with strategic pedal placement that runs across the middle of the #monopfx.

Pedals featured on this beast:

  • Boss TU-3
  • Boss DD-500
  • Jackson Audio Bloom
  • EHX POG2
  • Keeley Neutrino
  • JHS Pedals Kodiak
  • JHS Pedals Kilt
  • Walrus Audio Julia
  • Browne Amplification The Protein
  • Strymon BigSky
  • Line 6 HX Stomp

Truly one of the more substantial #monopfx we’ve seen in the past month.

This incredible #monopfx built by Effetto Pedalboard was spotted in the Caribbean! The perfect setup for any gig, thanks to its ampless capabilities, which means no more bugging the sound crew on site.

This Pedalboard Small also houses the “Strymon Duo” – The Strymon Timeline and BigSky. Here’s a complete breakdown of this setup:

  1. Xotic USA SP Compressor
  2. EHX Nano POG
  3. Paul Cochrane Timmy
  4. Jackson Audio Optimist
  5. Walrus Audio ACS1

Finally, the signal goes out through the Pinstripe Pedals DISO Plus to run stereo straight to the front of house for maximum width. Finished with clean and efficient cabling, this #monopfx is every guitarist’s dream.

GitRig Customs is back at it, this time with our second ampless #monopfx feature!

Some of the most popular effects lay upon this pedal pedestal — and very neatly too. You simply can’t go wrong with the Diamond Pedals Comp + JHS Kilt V1 + Analogman King Of Tone + Walrus Audio Julia + Boss DD-5 + Strymon BigSky + UAFX Starlight and Ruby combo.

This #monopfx has got to be one of our favorite compact builds so far!
